The project focuses on streamlining industrial chemical operations in handling resources and reducing energy consumption. This goal will be achieved through a combination of tools for safe and reliable monitoring, optimization, and production management. Technologies enabling a) safety and b) reliability are based on a) the
use of innovative homomorphic cryptosystems to ensure the privacy of process data in distributed control systems and b) leveraging data and expert knowledge to create mathematical models based on physical mechanisms with corrections using data components. Enhanced mathematical models are then used in operation optimization and control of industrial devices based on optimization with guaranteed anonymity of control signals. The proposed algorithms and control structures will be tested in simulation and laboratory conditions within the project. The project also aims to foster collaboration with the industry.
